Living with a pet offers companionship. The Wi-Fi-connected Petnet SmartFeeder not only doles out exact portions of food and lets you trigger feedings from your phone, it also monitors your loved one's dog or cat's caloric intake and provides nutritional information.

The SmartFeeder consists of a feeder base, a hopper for food, a bowl, and a stainless steel bowl insert. It contains Wi-Fi to connect to your home network, a rechargeable battery that will power the feeder for up to three days if you lose power, and a built-in scale that measures the amount of food being served.
